Research Co-operatives

ffp has formed three research co-operatives with industry, with the aim of enhancing the global competitiveness of the South African forestry and forest products industry through research and development.

At present, ffp is involved in research co-operatives in the following areas:

Eucalypts Research Co-operative, which aims to support more effective integration of grower and processor operations, from the plantation to the processing plant.
Fibre Processing Research Co-operative, which aims to investigate the effects of processing on South African fibres.
