In addition to the full-time staff and the post graduate students of the research centre, ffp has produced a number of graduates.

Aasha Baijnath  
Aasha obtained her MSc on "Development, Testing and Validation of a Rapid Screening Tool to Predict Wood Anatomical Characteristics and Wood Density of Plantation Eucalypts" at the University of Natal, Durban in 2003.
Sachita Budhram  
Sachita obtained her MSc on "The Impact of the Chemical and Physical Properties of Pinus patula on Pulp and Pulp Strength Properties" at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2005.

Viren Chunilall   Email
Viren obtained his PhD on "Structure, Accessibility and ‘Reactivity’ of cellulose I as revealed by CP/MAS 13C-NMR spectroscopy and Atomic Force Microscopy" at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2010.
David Drew   Email
Dave obtained his MSc on "The Development of Xylem in two Eucalyptus Clones Growing at Sites Contrasting in Rainfall" at the University of Natal in 2003. He is currently studying at the Monash University in Australia for his PhD.
Michael Gebreslasie   Email
Michael obtained his MSc from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Pietermaritzburg. He is now studying towards a PhD on the application of remote sensing techniques in forestry. He is supervised by Dr Fethi Ahmed.
Damien Naidu  
Damien obtained his MSc on "The Impact of Physical Characteristics of Pinus patula on Kraft Pulp Properties" from the University of Natal in 2003.
Sasha Naidoo  
Sasha Naidoo obtained her PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Her research includes the assessment and modelling of wood and fibre properties for the evaluation of the plantation forestry resource.
Kitt Payn
Kitt obtained his MSc degree on "Wood Density Variation in a Pinus patula Progeny Trial Series Established in South Africa" from the University of Natal in 2001.
Diresh Rampersadh  
Diresh obtained his MSc on "The Impact of Low Consistency Refining of Eucalyptus Species on the Fibre Morphology and Strength Properties of Pulp" from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2005.
Frank Venter  
Frank obtained his MSc on "Environmental Factors Affecting Wood Properties of Eucalyptus spp. Grown on the Zululand Coastal Plain and Along the Mpumalanga Escarpment of South Africa" from the University of Natal in 2003.
